BUTUAN CITY – May 31, 2019

Six months into the Instructional Leadership Program (ILP), 281 supervisors, divided into two clusters, converged to revisit, analyse, and evaluate their Division-initiated Application Projects (APs) during the Regional Colloquium of Supervisors under the Instructional Leadership Program for Division and District Supervisors (ILPDDS) on May 28-31, 2019 at the Balanghai Hotel and Convention Center, Butuan City.

This (ILP) program is intended to capacitate our education leaders in the field so that they can be of help to the School Heads, to provide them technical assistance particularly on Instructional Supervision,” said Dr. Flodelisa R. Dalin, Chief of the Human Resource Development Division (HRDD). She explained that the colloquium aimed to determine whether or not the APs met the objectives of the program and for the participants to benchmark from the success stories of other education leaders throughout the region.

According to Dalin, the colloquium was the final phase of the 6-month program (ILP) wherein supervisors showcased their leadership and management competencies relative to the implementation of their respective APs which were rated according to effectiveness (45%), efficiency of implementation (40%), application of learning (10%), and replicability (5%).

Cluster 1 participants (163) had their colloquium on May 28-29, 2019, while Cluster 2 participants (106) had theirs on May 30-31, 2019 at the same venue.

The evaluators were Dr. Imee Vicariato, ASDS Hector Macalalag, ASDS Jeanie Mativo, ASDS Antonieta Narra, Dr. Lope Papeleras, Dr. Renee Ebol, Dr. Carlo Tantoy, ASDS Laila Danaque, Dr. Manuel Limjoco, Dr. Jay Dalman, ASDS Segundino Madjos, Dr. Jeanette Isidro, Dr. Edmund Mendoza, Mr. Bernabe Linog, and Mrs. Rhea Yparraguirre.
