BUTUAN CITY – 8/22/19

After 8 months of meticulous preparations, the regional office successfully hurdled the Civil Service Commission regional level On-Site Assessment for PRIME-HRM Systems Implementation today August 22, 2019 at the Function Hall 2, NEAP Caraga, Butuan City.

The three-day activity, which began on August 19, culminated with the assessors’ panel interview in the morning with the members of the four committees running the four (4) Core Systems of PRIME-HRM.

During the exit conference in the afternoon, the assessors declared that DepEd Caraga is 100% compliant with the PRIME-HRM Systems Implementation.

Aurora B. Mantila, Lead Assessor and Chief Human Resource Specialist, presented her findings on Learning and Development (L & D). Zandroval B. Laganao, CSC Senior Human Resource Specialist, presented his findings on Recruitment, Selection and Placement (RSP) as well as on Performance Management System (PMS). The assessment on the Rewards and Recognition System (R & R) was presented by Lorejane F. Mateo, CSC Administrative Assistant II.

In view of the agency’s excellent assessment, Mantilla said that DepEd Caraga is now recommended for Level II accreditation by the CSC Central Office, telling the body that the regional recognition would be held on September 12, 2019. The national awarding, she added, would be held on a later date pending CSC-Caraga’s submission of the narrative report based on the documents provided by the respective committees.

“We are so happy that DepEd Caraga has complied with all four systems, and we need to celebrate,” said Dr. Isidro M. Biol, Jr., currently in-charge-of-office of the Office of the Regional Director. “We passed the first stage, and there is no reason why we cannot sustain it,” he boldly declared, to the delight of the body.  He then thanked the CSC assessors, the members of the different committees, and the Human Resource and Development Division (HRDD) and staff headed by Dr. Flodelisa R. Dalin.

With this achievement, Biol said that the regional office will pursue Level III accreditation in the future.
