In this world full of mess, one doesn’t need to search the skies to find Superman. One does not need to go to a diverted place to see the mythical Odysseus or Beowolf and his footsteps or be attacked in a dark lane and saved.
Why waste time on fictional heroes as if they were real? The real supermen live just around the corner. They are the ordinary people we meet daily, usually unnoticed.
This month, we remember and recognize these supermen in our lives, the ones engaged in the noblest act of molding our young children, the hope of our fatherland. For these supermen to educate our children in the classroom brings them hope and keeps their dreams alive.
These supermen are the lights at the end of the tunnel from whom the youth draw inspiration and the right motivation. These champions may die without many people knowing their heroism. They stand in stark contrast to those who only seek public admiration and end up as overrated underachievers – because they have no values and passion of a real-life superhero.
In these modern days, our teachers are our supermen. We thank them for their noble acts, and they deserve our heartfelt congratulations. They are ordinary mortals like you and me, but they deserve our profound recognition.
They wear no cape, no Kryptonite – but they still stand out as real champions, our real supermen.
