Yes, she is a servant. She serves the people, the government, her family, and rarely herself. But, in the imaginary world she creates, it is the other way around. Even if that world burns to ashes, somehow, her dreamy fame stays with her – because everybody knows who she is. Every move she makes, every word she says, every cloth she wears, her everything cannot escape the ogling eyes of those who constantly watch her. But she must get used to it.

But she is not, in any way, like a wind that blows and goes anywhere it wants. She doesnโ€™t have much choice. But whatever happens to her and her career, she will always be a mother and a teacher.

She is a mother in two different worlds, each one stacked with huge responsibilities. She struggles to serve two masters at the same time. In her two worlds, one world often takes a back seat. She feels this every time she steps out of the door to leave behind her sleeping child, letting her be taken care of by someone else until she returns.

At work and away from the place of her motherhood, more responsibilities await her. In the four corners of the classroom, she serves as any servant would. Needing her services were heterogenous dozens of children with different learning styles and multiple intelligences. As she steps into her second world, a complicated role starts โ€“ watching, caring, teaching, and guiding children other than her own. She must do this to keep her first world alive. She had no choice.

Her existence holds together her one life as she plays dual roles in each separate world. In her role as a mother, she is more than a mother because she must also be a teacher. In her role as a teacher, she is more than a teacher because she must also be a mother. Her life, therefore, is larger than the roles she plays.

Five in the morning, the bell rings, and her beautiful dream of being a queen acquires a new meaning. The ringing becomes a soft caress, gently leading her one life to the two worlds that await her, not as a queen but as a mother and a teacher.
