“This is already our fourth year, and we always include our ALS learners as our beneficiaries. Your ALS Community is remembering you in this yuletide season and hoping to cheer all of you up,” said Dr. Karen L. Galanida, Schools Division Superintendent of Surigao City.
Beneficiaries included 50 individuals from Surigao City Jail in Brgy. Silop and 65 from Surigao del Norte Provincial Jail in Capitol Compound, while 20 from Bahay Pag-asa in Brgy. Anomar received food packs from Superintendent Galanida.
The activity was also a part of Galanida’s thanksgiving celebration of her 46th birthday on December 29. It was her first visit to the PDL community learning centers in the city.
